What Are Some Good Vegetarian Recipes I Can Have While On A Diet?
Byim not large, but i will start getting large if i continue eating the way i do.
im vegetarian, and i do things like live off maccas just without meat in the burgers(:
what are some healthy recipes for breakfast lunch and dinner i could use ?
thankyou !!

I would cut out the dairy. Many omnivores don’t consume dairy because it makes them fat.
For breakfast:
You can make a smoothie with blueberries and strawberries and a small piece of banana. In addition to that, you could have one thin slice of healthy (look at the ingredients) toast with a little bit of non-hydrogenated margarine spread (if you can only find hydrogenated just use olive oil & salt) and a hard boiled egg.
for lunch:
a really good salad with a vinagrette, non-hydrogenated, soy-free dressing. Watch out for soy sauce because MSG is naturally occurring in soy sauce and many other soy products. MSG is known to make people eat more because it keeps you from getting a natural feeling of satiety.
Dinner:
A reasonable sandwich.
Breakfast – tofu scamble. Toss whatever veggies you like in an omelet in a fry pan, toss in tofu, serve in a wrap like a breakfast burrito.
Lunch – veg sandwiches. Get creative and use veggies you wouldn’t think of. You’ll find what you like.
Super easy dinner: chop up some veggies and lightly saute them, pour in a ready-made curry simmer sauce and simmer 5-20 minutes untill veggie are cooked the way you like. Serve over brown rice.
There are many wonderful & healthy things I’ve had over the time I’ve been a vegetarian.
-Breakfast:
Try veggie meats such as ‘bacon’, ‘sausage links’, and etc. Or you could try tofu egg substitute, a healthy alternative to eggs.
-Lunch:
Try a ‘chicken’ salad?
~Mixed lettuce
~{Light} Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing (or another dressing you find fitting)
~Crumbled original {reduced fat} Feta cheese
~{Reduced fat} croutons
~MorningStar vegetarian ‘chicken’ strips
-Dinner:
Try things like MorningStar / Boca / Amy’s veggie ‘meats’. This could be ‘burgers’, ‘chicken nuggets’, just make sure you get a good amount of protein. Veggie ‘meats’, especially Vegan ‘meats’, are healthy and generally have a very low fat content.
You can more than likely get all of the things I’ve listed at your local grocery store or Target. Hope I helped some. (:
Basically fill up on fruits and veggies, then you’ve got less room in your tummy for the more calorific things.
Breakfast – fruit salad or a fruit smoothie, with a small amount of (non-sugary) cereal on the side.
Lunch – Salad with some protein element eg tofu, houmous, beans or a small amount of cheese. Choose a low fat or fat free dressing. Have it with a small roll, wrap or pitta bread. Fruit for pud or a low fat yoghurt.
Dinner – small baked potato with low-fat soft cheese, loads of veg (half the plate) and some kind of veg sausages or similar, alternatively cook a stew with lentils or beans and loads of veggies, serve with mashed potato.
For pud allow yourself a small treat for being good, eg a small cake or small amount of ice cream.
Vegitarians pretty easy. Just cut the carbs, breads, rice… etc.
Eggs, omlets, all kinds of things like this for breakfast. They also have a breadless french toast for diets, its like eggs, creamer, and cimmanon and I believe you make it into crapes.
Lunch I live off of tomatoes and cheese, drowned in Spritxers, they are like 10 callories every few sprays, nd so yummy!!!
Dinner lots of faquita mixes, all the veggies you can think of and buy the Mexican packets.
Kabobs
Also look for the low carb bread, its like 1 carb per slice and its very yummy, so that will give u grilled cheese, eggs sandwich, tuna, all kinds of stuff
Well, most Vegetarians cannot eat cheese, cream, yogurts, doughnuts, cakes, lollies as they contain animal products. as you eat Mc Donalds I assume you aren’t a real vegetarian, you just feel bad eating a peice of flesh and have no interest in helping animals or yourself =)
As for your question, I love soups, best thing in the world for dinner. with sourdough bread, very low GI keeps you full.

Try making a Dahl curry- Dice up an onion and fry until it goes transparent, then combine 3-4 tbsp curry paste in the pan with 1 can light coconut milk and simmer adding chilli, a bayleaf and other spices if you wish. Boil up 100-200 grams red lentils til they go real soft, drain most the water off and add the curry and onion mixture to the lentils and stir in. Add a can of chickpeas and simmer till its quite thick. Taste it and if somethings missing eg turmeric or anther spice add a small amount. Adding extra chillies can help boost your metabolism too.
