I Am Looking For Some Good Vegetarian Recipes.?

By admin

I am not a vegetarian, but I would like to replace some of my meals with healthy vegetarian entrees. My doctor said I need to lose some weight and this is one of the steps I am going to take to help me shed the pounds. I am not really into the fake meats (tvp and such). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I found many good recipes at vegweb and at the Eden Foods web site. If you have a Whole Foods Market in your area, you can get recipes there or on their site.
Replacing some of your higher fat meals is a great idea, and it saves money (for me at least). Meats are expensive!
    Good luck!

Place a non stick pan on the cooker and pour oil. Then add onion curry leaves, jeera seeds,.mustard seeds and stir for awhile.Add cabbage, turmeric and salt. Stir well. Add just a little water and cover the pan for 3 minutes. (If you desire you can add shredded coconut.) Eating like a vegetarian is never the answer to losing weight. When being one, you actually have more of a chance to gain more. The diet mainly consists of starches (pastas, bread, cereals, pizzas, ect.) Vegetarians don’t normally eat healthy anyways and don’t have a lot of vegetables in their diets.
Maybe you can try stir fry with a little bit of tofu fried in it.
