  1. The recipes in this book are good for Vegetarians / vegans without heart disease. However, almost every single recipe that uses olive oil should not be consumed by people with heart disease. I had hoped this cookbook to be, but was very disappointed.

    I thought this book was very confusing and not well established ~ ~ ~ 2 columns on each page and the recipes are not divided by pages and not the images. I gave the book to my sister. Maybe I'm simple-minded and unwilling to work hard to figure out what recipes are saying. Good luck and hope you enjoy the book, if you buy it.

  5. At some point I 2005.Soy a new vegetarian and I like a lot of recipes but they are quite labor intensive. I am not able to spend all day in the kitchen, not with a job and a baby. I wish I could. lemon ice cream is good but a little sweet, no problem I will use less sugar next time. I made the kale with white beans and was impressive. i cooked spinach wilted but I wanted to vomit. I do not like spinach and I have known better. I want to do more, but I do not know where to find half the ingredients. truffles? Tahini? I hate going to the grocery store because all the idiots oblivious in that more older people who like to torture us all. So if you recognize something in the recipe i did not go hunting for it. that cuts of about 50% of the recipes out. images then there is not a necessity, but it's great anyway. the point is to buy this if you have a lot of time, if not lazy, and can read and write with an active imagination. mine is collecting dust in these momentos.Agosto 2006 OK-I take it back. Almost everything I've done in this book was awesome. It's worth the money. After giving the book another try, I realized that I like almost everything in it. I often wonder how good the recipes come out. If you are a Vegan and do not like soy, is a cookbook should be. For some reason I can not change the stars, but I give 5.Happy Cooking.
