I admit that in general the recipes in this cookbook are delicious. So why the number of casualties? Because the author and his publishers have made a big, big mistake, all the recipes that spelled use – and there are several – are labeled "wheat-free." As a person who educates people about the disease celiac and gluten-free diet, this lack of information is deadly. Shereen Jegtvig nutritionist notes "Spelled is very similar to wheat. So similar that the FDA says that rye products can not claim to be "wheat-free" on their labels. "In fact, experts disagree about whether to classify their own species spelled as wheat or defined as a subspecies of wheat. (University of Delaware Agricultural Extension Kent County). I warn anyone with gluten intolerance or celiac disease to be aware that if you buy this book, do not use the "wheat free" recipes spelled as written. Continue with the replacement of your regular flour gluten free for spelled as you would any other cookbook that is not specifically designed for gluten-free diets. Once the editor removes the "wheat free designation," will gladly change my rating.

  2. A. Bolton says:

This is not a vegetarian cookbook practice, at least not if they are in the high consumption of wheat grass juice, sugar, fearful, phobic crowd flavor. All the recipes I have tried in this book have become mediocre if not disastrous. The amount of spices, the author, especially those such as nutmeg and cinnamon, sniffer lead me to believe the author / assessor is broken. A potentially good side dish was ruined by the smell and taste of sweet spices such. As if that were not enough, the ingredient list for most of the recipes really are supposed to have access to a wide variety of strange "reactive" and Madame uses agave nectar as if to go out of style (which is over 90% fructose and elaborate. Because people that use of this material are often the same ones that come out of their way to avoid HFCS, you may want to consider just biting the bullet and use of sugar) . There are, of course, many other odd sugar syrups sub, and specific brands of fake meat needed for the recipes. I could buy a conventional cookbook and just swap in some fake meat, and get much better results. In any case, I deeply regret buying this cookbook, and if it had spilled orange goo everywhere in the kitchen, would return to Amazon right now. Oh, I'm stuck with him, but I feel compelled to warn the masses about this cookbook with an undeserved 5 stars.
