  1. fish would fall under meat wouldnt it?

  2. Pescatarian…are Vegetarians who don’t eat fisth
Pescetarianism (or Pesco-Vegetarianism) is a semi-Vegetarian Dietary choice, in which a person — known as a pesco-vegetarian — only eats vegetables, fruit, and fish or other non-mammalian sea food, but will not eat mammals or birds. Some animal products like eggs and dairy may be part of a pescovegetarian diet.
Terms like pesco-vegetarianism are more often used
to describe pescetarianism, to emphasize that pescetarians abstain from eating the flesh of land animals, and due to the fact that the term “pescetarianism” suggests a diet consisting only of fish, while “pesco-vegetarianism” rightly defines one of fish and vegetables/fruit. However, these terms are controversial and lesser-used, in part because they imply that pescetarianism is a type of vegetarianism.

  3. Aether says:

I believe people who do not eat fish (but still eat eggs and dairy) are called Lacto-ovo Vegetarians. There is also Lacto and Ovo Vegetarianism. If you didn’t know, lacto means milk and ovo means egg, so Lacto vegetarians eat dairy but not eggs and Ovo vegetarians eat eggs but not dairy. They do not eat fish. I also believe that vegans will not eat just meat or dairy, they won’t associate with animals at all (ex: wear leather).
I’m sure wikipedia has some information if you want to check.

  4. Shish says:

    Vegetarians don’t eat fish.
the definition of a vegetarian is:
“a person who does not eat or does not believe in eating meat, fish, fowl, or, in some cases, any food derived from animals, as eggs or cheese, but subsists on vegetables, fruits, nuts, grain, etc.” (dictionary.com)
so, a person who does not eat fish would be considered a vegetarian. If you are not eating fish, but you eat meat, that would be solely for taste purposes, it would not be considered a vegetarian. Vegetarians are that way because they don’t like the killing of the animals.

  5. Dustin M says:

This only “kinda” answers the question, but I think it may help.
    Fish is considered meat.
Some people don’t because they can’t eat Meat on Fridays during Lent. However, not eating that kind of meat is about land animals only; I think it’s because the Bible differentiates land meat from sea meat.
If someone says to me “I’m a vegetarian, but I eat fish.” I respond: “Then you’re not a vegetarian.”

  6. taytay says:

i don’t know about the people who just don’t eat fish but taking juice plus vitamins isn’t enough. You need to take extra calcium and magnesiem and a lot of other things if you’re a Vegan. If you’re a vegitarian…then that would be enough but you should have more dairy products to give you protein. Eat power bars and Nutri-Grans breakfast bars. Hope that helps. Talk to your doctor about it.

  7. There is no name for people who don’t eat fish.
If a person eats no animal flesh or slaughter by products..they are a vegetarian. If a person eats both animal and vegetable, that person is an omnivore.

  8. gravedis says:

I’ve been vegetarian for almost all of my life and I’m very healthy but when I was Vegan I was getting sick more often, I would start out vegetarian first!
Eating garden herbs is very healthy and finding natural foods is great.

  9. hehe says:

i dont think they call the people that eat fish anything cuz fish is like meat, so vegeterians dont eat fish cuz they dont want an animal 2 be killed…so people who dont eat fish maybe because they dont like fish so i dont think they call them anything!

  10. Spock says:

pescatarian-eat fish but no other meat.
obviously they arent true Vegetarians, cause they still eat meat.
there is nothing for someone who eats red meat but no fish

  11. Jordan S. says:

Vegetarians don’t eat meat or fish. If the only meat you eat is fish you are a pescetarian.

  12. Sitegrinder says:

Vegans also dont eat Honey or anything else made from animals, not just dairy.
Are you asking people that eat red meat but no fish at all? I believe they are just called “People who dont like to eat fish”

  13. khayum p says:

    Fishiterians—————- Just for joke OK.

  14. bonitaka says:

    I call them, “my husband.”

  15. m_avery5 says:

For those who eat fish, but not poultry, pork, or beef, you’d refer to them as Pesco-Vegetarians. Technically speaking. There is a term for nearly every combination of meat-eating/non meat-eating out there. Check out http://www.veggie123.com for some more info. It’s a well informed website with a lot of good base knowledge.
All of this talk on veggie/Vegan isn’t just about what do I eat & how do I do it? It’s about a lifestyle that you’re choosing to be involved in. It’s about family members getting ticked off that you won’t eat their Thanksgiving turkey anymore. It’s about how to deal with gliches like that, or like being at a wedding where there is NO VEGAN food. How do you compensate and not offend people with your “so-called high moral ground.”
It’s about more than protein and vitamins. It’s about learning to cook in a cuisine that will satisfy you, both physically and emotionally. There are some awesome recipes out there for both vegan and vegetarian life. A lot of recipes that make my meat-eating friends get in line and grab a plate. Nourishing and tasteful food is not hard, once you get the basics and open up to creativity. But it’s work. It’s a commitment.
And don’t get down on yourself it you go back and forth for a while…I did…before the meat-eating just faded away. It’s not easy to change things overnight…damn near impossible. Give it time, and you’ll be fine. Good luck!
