Please Explain A Typical Vegan Diet.?
ByI’m ready for a change in my life. What exactly is a Vegan Diet and some examples of exceptible foods and unexceptable foods.

Milk replaced with soy milk, nut milks or rice milk.
Butter/Margarine replaced with Vegan margarine in sandwiches.
Egg replaced by crumbled tofu in scrambled egg recipes.
Egg replaced by egg replacer in savoury recipes.
Egg replaced by oil, applesauce, soya yogurt or banana in sweet recipes such as cakes.
Yogurt replaced with soy yogurt or dairy-free desserts (usually fruit or rice based).
Meat replaced with tofu, textured vegetable protein (VegeMince), tempeh, seitan (wheat meat)
Custard/Cream replaced with a vegan alternative from supermarket.
Example breakfasts:
muesli, rice milk with sliced banana, fruit smoothie or fruit juice
scrambled tofu on toast (tastes and looks like scrambled egg)
English muffin with vegan margarine.
Vegan bacon strips by RedWoods in bread with vegan margarine
Wholemeal toast w/ vegan margarine + yeast extract or nut butter
Vegan pancakes (made w/ vegan pancake mix)
Vegan Lunches:
Vegan soups (there are usually at least 5 fresh ones in each major supermarket- try looking for Mediterranean or Roasted Vegetable, Tomato and Basil, Vegetable, Vegetable and Barley- there should also be some in the tinned section, or you can make your own).
Pita bread stuffed with salad, houmous, falafa or a fake meat with crudites on the side.
Toasted bagel with houmous or other sandwich filling, salad and marinated tofu pieces.
Sandwich made with vegan cheese,
Cous cous or tabouleh mixed with chargrilled veg.
Dinner:
Spaghetti Napoletana (durum wheat pasta with tomato & basil sauce)
Vegan Pizza (with either no cheese or vegan cheese)
Vegan Lasane, with a vegan white sauce, vegan cheese and vegemince.
Vegan chilli, with vegemince, served with rice. Or vegan fajitas or enchiladas, the cheese and meat being replaced by vegan alternatives (or none at all, fajitas don’t ‘need’ cheese).
A veggie/bean burger/sausage in a bun with lettuce, ketchup and fake cheese and onions, served with a tomato salad and fries.
Veggie casserole with home made dumplings.

Finally, keep your diet balanced. Eat 5 a day, drink fruit juice or eat a piece of fruit as part of your breakfast, remember to get your B12 intake by either taking a supplement or ensuring you eat yeast extracts, sea vegetables or miso.
Remember to stay healthy and look after your nutrition. No just eating sugar or salty things because you’re too busy to eat properly
you’re not ready. you don’t know what it is. suggest you read the book “Slaughterhouse” by Gail Einitz
they try not to eat sugar (it is filtered thru bone char), or honey (exploits bees and leaves them with only sugar water to “eat” over the winter….

Check out the animal ingredients lists on the internet. No single one is complete, so try to cross-reference and use your own judgment.
The one I have sourced below omits calcium carbonate, for instance.

First off, ask yourself why you’re changing to a Vegan Diet if you’re not 100% what it is.
Second, it means not eating any animal products. No chicken, no egg, no beef, no milk, no cheese, nothing. You’re diet will consist of vegetables, fruit, soy, legumes, etc…
A Vegan Diet means no eating animal meat or animal products, such as eggs, milk, or cheese.
A good protein subsitute is tofu. Other good protein subs are whole wheat bread, lentils, and chick peas.
You also can not eat anything with an animal product ingredient, like no cake made with milk and eggs.

Here’s a Vegan Diet for you:
Breakfast:
Seawood and asparagus cereal, fresh sunflower seeds, and organic tea mixed with organic sugar
Lunch:
Soy beans and wasabi dipped in corn syrup
Dinner:
Pine cones dipped in pecan juice
