Just received this book. I like her perspective on things and she presents it in an easy to understand format. I gave it four stars because there are no recipes in this book–you have to buy her other books for that. She does give a 14-day diet plan, but puts astricks by the items that need a recipe (which can be found in her other books). I guess it’s a great marketing tool to sell her other books.

A short, succinct, but very insightful beginners book. I have read so many books on raw over the last year. If I were beginning my journey as raw foodist from scratch knowing what I know now, I would read this first, followed by Natalie Rose’s “Raw Food Detox Diet” and Ruthann Russo’s “The Raw Food Diet Myth”. My first cook book would be Jenny Cornbleet’s “Raw Food made easy for 1-2 people”.

This is a great book to get into Raw or Live food eating, and is very well laid out, and presented. Part of a long series of books by the author who is well known on the internet.

I know many others have liked her books as well.

I can also recommend a rare gem that many will not know about, but is FANTASTIC! It was a raw book before Kristen was born, and is very inexpensive, worth getting with this one too.

Mrs. Richter’s Cook-Less Book: The Original Raw Food Recipe’s From The Original Raw Food Restaurant!

    Enjoy!

Kristen not only is a gorgeous vibrant woman, she is a master of raw food diet. Her explanation of the different types of diets that people eat is worth the price of the book alone! Kristen breaks it all down, makes it easy to understand and best of all, shares her vast knowledge with anyone who wants to make raw a way of life.

In the book you will find many ways to modify your diet, chose the foods that suit you best and the in’s and outs of raw. I would recommend this book for anyone new to raw, it is very very helpful.

I loved this book and will tell everyone to get a copy for their raw library!

    way to go Kristen!
