For A Lasting Filter, Whole House Is Recommended.

With the vast range of filters available nowadays, from countertop to camping filters, choosing one that lasts a life time is not easy. When health and well-being is involved families should install the best water filter available and there is one type of filter that fits the bill, a filter whole house system. These filters are the best because it supplies the entire house with quality drinking water.

Whole house filters are different from the rest of the filters because as far as I know it is the only filter able to filter water through out your entire house. Unlike other more cheaper filters which can only filter one water outlet at any one time the whole house is able to filter water to kitchen taps, bathroom taps, toilets, showers, sprinkles, and even gardens. I bought my first whole house filter 2 years ago for Christmas and found it very easy to install. All I had to do was to attach the input line from the water source to my whole house filter. The Whole house filter I had installed also has in built by-pass valve that I could control whenever I wanted to wash my cars or water my lawns with normal water. I found that this saved me on some electricity and unnecessary water filter use.

I also found this system to be so effective that all the faucet outlets in my house were receiving the same quality of water at the same water pressure rate. With other water filters water pressure coming out from your taps is reduced and this can get frustrating.

Water that comes from a municipal supply or from a well source is very dangerous as it may be contaminated with disease carrying bacteria and chemicals such as chlorine, lead and fluoride. These chemicals and bacteria are known to affect your health and can even lead to cancer in some cases when overly consumed.

It would be much more economical to have a filter whole house system rather than having multiple faucet filters around the house. With time dirt water will start to corrode the pipes with sediments and heavy corroding minerals and changing these pipes will be expensive. By installing a whole house filter, this can be prevented from happening, and thus ensuring that only clean water free of chemicals and large sediments flow through your water pipes.

On a personal note, two years after investing in a filter whole house system, the doctors and plumbing bills have significantly decreased and my family loves the quality of our water. I believe that having a whole house filter has a direct positive impact on our health and well-being, so if you are looking for a water filter, than a whole house filter system should definitely be considered.
