Cats On A Vegan Diet?

Humans can be healthy as vegan. But in my opinion, putting a cat on a vegan diet equates to cruelty of the highest degree. I strongly oppose suffering of any kind but this is taking things too far.
What are your thoughts on this contraversial topic?

ofcourse when i first became a vegan i lost weight just from the changes i had made, but now that i know alot more food that is vegan i find myself only eating junk food for meals. i don’t want to only eat fruit and veggies but is that the only way i can lose weight? or is there something else i can eat thats not bad for me or not strictly fresh veggies?

I am aware of my six-month reduced service because I live in the United States and that I will be placed in a group of others who do not speak Greek well. But I am unable to find any information on Diet in the Greek army.
